Hi everybody ! ,
You all must be lovers of the horror and adventure genre, if you're reading this. Well, everybody of us in fact loves to get frightened, not in real life, though. A look at the long queues in front of cinema halls screening horror movies, popularity of horror soaps in television, the thrilling joyrides we enjoy at amusement parks, apart from books is well convincing that we enjoy that adrenaline rush for a two to three hours or maybe more . Today, in our fast-paced lives, where everybody is striving to make their presence felt, trying to push ahead of others, there is a certain degree of uncertainty in everybody's lives and it is from here fear stems up from within us; the fear of not getting good grades at school, of not getting a good job after college, a satisfying married life, the failure to strike balance between office and home, strained relationships... the list is endless. Sometimes when we're down and some unreasonable thing takes place with us or around us, we are taken to believe that our lives are in the hands of some unknown, evil forces. The reality however is, as all psychologists will tell you, is the immense power that lies within ourselves which helps us combat these unknown forces, these fears, take control of our situation and overcome the troublesome phases of our lives. Given the many things happening with us which is beyond our control, fear acts as a challenge which causes us to commit ourselves better. Deep within us, it is this need to fight our fears, which causes us to sit glued to movie theatres or before the TV to watch how the protagonist overcome the situations and emerge victorious in the end. So much for now. Keep getting afraid.
