Set in the backdrop of Kolkata in the year 2000, the novel explores the lives and relationships of two men and a woman, searching for love in their lives, with their own expectations. As they struggle to move-on in life, abandoning their not-so memorable pasts, their quest for love soon becomes their quest for seeking their own identities While Utpal and Pradeep are tiring their days out to make a niche for themselves in the corporate world, Paro is a beautiful and sultry TV actress, trying to make it big in the showbiz industry. Losing the love of her life and being married to a chauvinist, perverted man who’d stop at nothing to prove his dominion over her; she joins showbiz with the hope of earning her respect and individuality only to find that she was out of the frying pan into the fire. The novel is in the process of being written, expected to be published by 2022.
