Abhik Dasgupta is a Civil Engineer, Author, literary, blogger, proof-reader and book-reviewer. His other interests are softwares learning and website development. Having started his career in 1997 he worked for various construction companies and engineering firms of international repute until at the age of 38, he founded his own consulting company. He had an appetite for English and bengali literary fiction since his school days and found time in between studies for devouring works of Dickens, Conan Doyle, Bram Stoker, Tagore, Satyajit Ray and Sunil Ganguli to name a few. He has written several micro-fiction, short stories and poems on various social media websites and has two novelettes on Amazon in crime, horror, thrillers genre now.  He has also contributed articles on reputed news portals like ‘Times of India’.   He is currently working on his first novel expected to hit the stands in 2022.
