The Revolution

When people ask me why my pen has gone silent
How do I explain to them that
All of my poems are held captive by your eyes..
Sedated with the mystery in them..
The mystery which shrouds your silence ..
Your smile ..
They can wait for millions of light years
For just one moment of your love
To become fire balls and compete with the sun
In igniting minds and bringing humanity back to life again
Inspiring to look for the light at the end of the tunnel
Commanding the clouds to pour down rains of change
On the parched earth of compromises..
My poems remain inebriated now ..
With the beauty of your eyes..nose..lips..ears..cheeks..chin..neck..tresses ..
They remain lost .. in the scent of your embrace
Listening to your unsaid words ..
Resonating with your heart beats
You and Only you can set them free
And usher in a revolution ..
